The Sno Bar was built on one idea: every event deserves something people actually talk about. We travel Minnesota with hand-crafted sno balls, Philly water ice, loaded buckets, and lemonade squeezed to order.
From backyard birthdays to corporate picnics to wedding receptions, we show up, set up, and serve your crowd something cold, colorful, and hard to forget. Indoors or out, on grass or on pavement. Minnesota summers are short. Make them sweeter.

The Sno Bar is family-run out of Lakeville, and it is New Orleans style: ice shaved fine enough to eat with a spoon, flavoured all the way through rather than syrup poured over a snowball.
When you book us, you get the owners. The same two people answer the phone, load the coolers, shave every cup and hand it to your guests. That is the whole reason we can promise it will be right.
It started with one snowball
Mika tried a New Orleans snowball, and that was that. Not a snow cone. Not syrup sitting on top of crushed ice. Something softer, finer, flavoured the whole way down — and nothing in Minnesota was doing it.
We had talked about starting a business for years and never actually done it. What finally moved us was not a plan or a spreadsheet. We believe God led us to take the leap, so we took it.
Our first event was a birthday party at an indoor waterpark, booked by one of Mika’s longtime lash clients. Somebody who had trusted her for years was the first person to trust us with this.
We called it The Sno Bar because there is no honest way to describe it other than the softest snow around.
We are a family of eight, and every one of us has a part in it. That was the point from the beginning: build something our kids could work in, learn from, and one day own.
